The GTV PF 2/2 powder feeder is based on over 20 years well known PT Twin system. The GTV 2/2 is a further advancement of this earlier development. The GTV 2/2 has proven to be reliable in both thermal spray and laser cladding powder feed applications.

Standard Features Include:

  • Siemens PLC

  • 2 - rotameter type flow meters

  • 2 - motor driven hoppers with RPM setpoint and actual display

  • 2 Disk assemblies (see below for options)

  • 2 stirrers (on/off)

  • 2 feed hoses

  • 2 gas input hoses 

Options include:

  • Variable hopper size 1.5, 5.0 and 0.5 litre

  • Variable disk size: (feed rates approximate)

    • Standard Disk ( 16 mm x 1.2 mm) (5-200 g/min)

    • Laser Cladding Powder Feed Disk (5mm x 0.6 mm) (0.5-15 g/min)

    • Intermediate Disk (11 mm x 0.6 mm) (1 - 50 g/min)

  • Mass Flow control

  • Closed Loop Scale (W option)

  • Stirrer Variable RPM

  • Heater Jackets

  • Operator Panel

  • Multiple hopper options (i.e. 2/1, 3/3, 4/4, 4/2, 4/3

Proven workhorse for flame, HVOF and plasma spraying, the GTV 2/2 feeder is highly accepted as a laser cladding powder feed standard due to the high accuracy of powder feed at both high and low powder feed rates.

Low Cost GTV  2/2 Powder Feeder

 Low Cost GTV 2/2 LC Powder Feeder incorporates identical disks, spreaders and suction assemblies as the standardard GTV 2/2. The differences are as follows: 

  • No PLC

  • No Stirrer

  • No Operator Panel

  • Disk Rotation speed set with  potentiometer

Low Cost GTV 2/2 LC includes:

  • 2 Rotameters for carrier gas control

  • 2 moter driven hoppers (1.5 litre standard)

  • 2 feed hoses

  • 2 gas hoses

  • Power cable
