• Manufacturing Optimization - Thermal spray is a low cost fabrication process for advanced materials compared to traditional processing techniques such as, sintering and casting in specific applications involving complex alloys, ceramics and composite structures.
• Coating Development –SprayWerx works with companies to develop operational procedures to achieve specific technical and economic objectives for thermal spray devices. SprayWerx is knowledgeable in Plasma, HVOF and specifically axial injection plasma.
• Process Qualification – Many thermal spray processes are required to meet technical specifications. SprayWerx will assist companies in meeting these specifications using analytical and diagnostic tools.
• Powder Processing – Plasma powder processing, including sub-micron synthesis and powder spheroidization, are becoming standard processing methods in the manufacture of valued-added powders. SprayWerx has experience in design and operation of these process.
