Shotec Wear Plates

Impact – Wear – Corrosion Protection

A Wear Plate is composed of a thick hard alloy that is fused onto a steel plate. Using a vacuum sintering process, a strong metallurgical bonded is formed between the coating (1.0-10 mm thick) and the steel substrate. This combination of the high bond strength along with a thick hard layer, makes Wear Plates ideal for applications involving combined impact, corrosion and wear.

Plates can be delivered as finished parts or as semi-finished plates that can be further processed by the customer. Wear Plates can be welded and formed.
