North Vancouver Facility
Prove It On Your Parts
Our North Vancouver prototyping facility is built for one purpose: helping engineering teams validate HVOF coatings on their actual components — before committing to production.
Why Engineering Teams Choose Our Facility
Test on Your Actual Components
No simulations. No proxies. Bring your parts — landing gear bores, downhole tools, hydraulic cylinders — and see how our coatings perform on your specific geometries and materials.
Weeks to Results, Not Years
Traditional qualification cycles take 12–24 months. Our facility compresses that timeline dramatically — generating hardness, porosity, and microstructure data in days, not quarters.
Field-Proven Configurations
Our facility runs the same ID-Nova systems, powders, and processes that deploy to production. What works here works in your shop.
A Fully Equipped HVOF Development Cell
Purpose-built for internal diameter coating applications, our facility supports rapid prototyping, powder qualification, and Warm Spray testing on bore diameters as small as 2.5" (63.5 mm).
- ID-Nova HVOF torch systems (Mini-Nova, ID-Nova MK-7)
- Robotic coating booth with turntable and integrated lathe
- Powder feeders with axial injection
- Inert gas integration for Warm Spray trials
- Chillers and dust extraction systems
- On-site metallurgical testing equipment

Metallurgical Laboratory
We test and characterize from raw materials to finished coatings. On-site analysis covers powder particle size distribution and coating hardness, microstructure, and porosity.
How It Works
Discovery Call
We start with a technical conversation to understand your application, part geometry, performance requirements, and timeline.
Scope & Plan
We develop a prototyping plan: which coatings to test, what data to capture, and how many trial runs to schedule.
Ship Your Parts
Send your components to our North Vancouver facility. These are your production parts, not test coupons.
Coating Trials
Our team runs coating trials using production-grade ID-Nova systems. You're welcome to attend in person.
Testing & Analysis
Hardness, porosity, microstructure, and surface finish — compiled into a qualification report.
Results & Next Steps
Review results with our engineering team and plan the path forward.
Book a Prototyping Engagement
Tell us about the part, the coating goal, and your timeline. We reply from info@spraywerx.com.
Ready to Validate Your Coating Strategy?
Whether you're replacing chrome, qualifying a new part, or expanding into internal diameter applications — our facility and team are ready to help you move from concept to confidence.
