WC-CoCr (Tungsten Carbide Cobalt Chrome)
The workhorse of hard chrome replacement. Delivers exceptional wear and corrosion resistance with hardness exceeding 1000 HV300. Hardness: >1000 HV300. Porosity: <1%. Applications: Landing gear, hydraulic cylinders, downhole tools. Chrome replacement: 4–5× Taber Wear Index (TWI) abrasion vs. hard chrome.
WC-Co (Tungsten Carbide Cobalt)
Optimized for pure wear resistance in applications where corrosion is not the primary concern. Excellent abrasion resistance. High hardness and density.
Cr3C2-NiCr (Chromium Carbide)
For high-temperature wear applications up to 800°C where tungsten carbide would oxidize. Applications: Turbine components, high-temp wear surfaces.
MCrAlY Coatings
Thermal barrier and oxidation-resistant coatings for high-temperature turbine applications. Applications: Turbine blades, combustion components.
Nickel-based alloys (e.g. Inconel 625).
Nickel-based superalloy for extreme corrosion resistance in harsh environments. Applications: Chemical processing, marine environments.
